1.       The excellence achieved was that Mia Hamm became one of the best female soccer player in history. She won the Women’s World Cup in 1991 and 1999, and took Olympic gold  medals in 1996 and 2004.
2.       At a very young age, she was encouraged by her brother Garett, to play sports. She played for many years and when she was 15, she was the youngest soccer player to play for a national team. She then played for the United States women’s national soccer team for 17 years where she perfected her skills until she retired.
3.       Technology impacted this arĂȘte experience because without it, none of her achievements would have been recorded. Being said none of her games would have been televised.

4.       I think that for all the young athletes out there it shows the perseverance they must have to achieve their goal. I think that she is a brave hardworking person to have worked so hard towards her career. It shows the dedication she had. The lesson that you can take from this is that in order to get what you want you must work relentlessly and never give up.

Luke Aikins
1)Luke Aikins is a professional skydiver and aerial photographer who has defied many challenges and has over 16,000 jumps.
2)Luke Aikins achieved this excellence by having over 2 decades of experience and practice that have helped him get better at his career. Also, he is constantly working on ways to make his jumping experience a little more pleasurable.
3) Technology impacted his career and experience because of the modern technology we have we are able to ensure that no major injuries occur or nothing bad happens in his experience.
4)I think that this man’s accomplishments are extraordinary and that you can make a career out of the things you love if you just try hard enough. You shouldn't be afraid of doing something until you finally get it right.

Marvin Goldstein

  1. Marvin Goldstein's excellence was that he earned a bachelors and masters in music at Florida State University. Until today he is an amazing musician who has composed plenty of works.
  2. When he was 9 years old he started training to launch his music career and when he was 18 he was offered a scholarship to University School of Music in Israel where he further pursued his career.
  3. I think that technology would have impacted his arete experience negatively because it is possible that if technology was advanced like it is now his focus would have been elsewhere and he would have not committed himself entirely to his musical career.
  4. I think the talent of music is a great one to have. If you can truly play an instrument it shows the dedication and devotion that you put into mastering your skills on that instrument. The lessons I can learn is to always give my all into something I love doing because it will pay off in the end.

Genetically Modified Plants
A) Genetically modified plants falls under the category of a GMO or a genetically modified organism. This includes plants, animals, or other organism. What this means is that the DNA in these plants are modified in order to create a new plants or a combination of two plants that don't occur normally in nature.
B) Genetically modified plants will impact humans, scientist, and the earth as it advances. The impacts can be both positive and negative. It can feed a population in times of famine, it can create new breakthroughs in science, and it can help reduce pollution.
C)Like I mentioned before, genetically modified plants will solve the problem of hunger in the world. It will help feed the 80 million people who are currently malnourished across the world. Genetically modified plants would mean we never have to run out of food because we can create some more.
D) I think that this innovation will only make the world a better place. We will no longer have to cut trees down or cut plants. It will help millions of people across the world and open the door for better things.
