Carl and Margaret Karcher

1.       Carl Karcher and his wife, Margaret opened over 300 restaurants including the most famous one we have come to know today, Carl’s Jr.

2.       They borrowed $311 from their vehicle and made an investment of $15 from her pocket to open a hot dog stand which eventually turned into restaurants. Until they were able to open hundreds of restaurants.

3.       Technology could have helped their business strive even more with advertising and machinery and such.

4.       I think that this is great excellence because what started off as a hot dog stand skyrocket into one of the biggest fast food chains in the nation. The lesson I learn is that I must start from the bottom to achieve what I want.
